It includes the most important tea rooms in Urasenke (One of the three major families in the tea ceremony), Konnichian and Yuin. There were built by Senke's third generation Sotan, the grandson of Rikyu. This residence well preserves the residential style of tea masters since the Edo period and is designated as an important cultural property. In this book, Konnichian (a tea room of about 2 tatami mats), Yuin (a tea room of about 4.5 tatami mats), 13 other tea rooms and the garden are introduced with large-sized photographs. And It includes floor plans and perspective views of almost all tea rooms, as well as interior elevations and ceiling plan views as appropriate.
