Description: Titled - MISSISSIPPI RIVER - LANSING, IOWA. This is a nice UN-branded, circa 1925/30S, unmailed, white border style, RPPC RP REAL PHOTO POST CARD of the Old Steel Mississippi River Crossing Bridge AND NOTE HOW CLOSE SOME OF THE HOMES WERE AT THE TIME, right up from homes is Mt Hosmer. Very Good to Excellent unused shape. Typical corner rounding and edge wear, no major faults. Card shape descriptions are done to the Post Card trade standards: Mint is hard to find; Near Mint has very little if any wear; Excellent allows some wear and minor soiling; Very Good is better than average; Good is basically average; Fair is to allow more wear than normal; Poor is obvious. We try to call out any tears, minor wrinkles are on most any card. Creased means has been folded or badly bent. Cut down cards are hardly ever sold by us, if so, will be told as such. Repros - destroyed, unless historic value - life is just too short for cheats! NOTE: Colored border is to highlight cards & is NOT part of card! Be fair when placing feedback, if you are not used to grading, use the above as a guide. COLLECT HISTORIC POST CARDS! THANK YOU for your business. ALWAYS 4,000 and MORE GREAT CARDS ON OUR EBAY STORE!
