Description: I was told it was purchased in Hungary. I'm not sure of the age. I would guess 1940s, but could be much older. It is a large bear, 30 inches tall to the top of the ears. The fur looks to be mohair. The back and bottom fur are more smushed from being displayed in a sitting position. The rest has a wavy pattern. There are a couple holes where the stuffing is visible. It is stuffed with wood shavings and has a solid, crunchy feel to it. It weighs 5 lbs. The nose is curled and I can't tell the material. There is no mouth or stitching on the fingers and toes. One of the eyes is missing, but it looks like the eyes were not original. It looks like the remaining one was glued on. The arms and legs are jointed; the head does not move. The ears are not symmetrical and makes think this may have been hand made. It's especially noticeable in the top down picture. It is sturdy and not in a fragile condition. I'll probably be using FedEx or UPS shipping as it's a large package.
