Description: Large French Palais Royale Gilt Bronze Cobalt Glass Egg Casket Jewelry Box Etui MAKER: Unknown/Unmarked appears to be circa 19c French MATERIAL: Glass and Gilt Bronze or Brass PIECE NAME: Large Gilt Bronze Mounted Cobalt Glass Egg Casket DIMENSIONS: 7 3/4" by 6" by 7" tall WEIGHT: 4lbs 2oz CONDITION: Most of the gilding has been worn off the glass. Base has been reattached by previous owner using a clear epoxy (it's functional and not visible unless under close inspection but it's worth noting). Hinge is a bit loose.
