Description: This VIBRANT cotton 1870's / 1880's red and white drunkard's path quilt is all hand pieced and hand quilted.It measures 86" X 92" and is in excellent condition, with a couple of small, faint spots and no wear. The hand quilting is superb, with close straight line and orange peel design quilted throughout at an even 10-11 stitches to the inch. The back and treadle machine stitched binding are white, and the batting is thin. You can see cotton seed residue inside when you hold the quilt up to the light.
