The end of the collar goes thru the D ring and then buckles. See photos. This listing is for the design shown in the first 4 photos, it does not come with decorative hardware. This collar is 1 1/2" wide. Quality leather, handmade by an Amish harness maker in NE Ohio. When you purchase you will need to specify:· Your dog’s neck size in inches· The color leather you would like· The name you would like stamped on the collar(you can message me these details in a message with your payment or you can contact me through eBay messaging) Size:Take a measuring tape and measure around your dog’s neck where you would like the collar to sit. Take note of where the ends of the measuring tape meet, that will be your dogs neck size. Tip: Do not keep the tape too loose or too tight on your dog’s neck for the most accurate measurement. If your dog has a neck size that is larger than 25” please order from the extra large listing. The measurement (in inches) will be the length of the collar to the CENTER HOLE of the collar, leaving room to make the collar tighter or looser. If your dog is still growing please let us know!Leather:We have five different leather colors to choose from. You can see each color in the last five photos of this listing. Pick your favorite, and include the name of that color in your message to us. You can find the color’s name located in the bottom left corner of the photo in large black print. The red and black leather will come with chrome hardware. The chestnut, brown, and London leather will come with brass hardware.Name:We will custom stamp any name of your choice onto the center of the collar. You can have a name up to 8 letters.
