It reads "Nebraska City, Nebraska. Home of Julius Sterling Morton the originator of Arbor Day. (I do not know the relationship between the Mary French Morton and Julius Sterling Morton). It is a book of poetry illustrated with black & white photographs of trees. Binding is open at top of interior gutter from inside from cover to title page, after which binding is tight. There is name stamped on decorative and on the plain front fly-leaf. Text pages are crisp and clean. Cover has edge and corner wear. Non-smoking home. nioe
