Description: Beautiful Leblanc Paris Bb clarinet with left-hand “third ring” key. Serial number 5323. In the 1940s Leon Leblanc, a master clarinetist, designed and built some professional models with special mechanisms. This one features a “third ring”. It is a beautifully crafted professional instrument lovingly restored in our shop with new double skin pads and corks. Raw nickel silver mechanism, no cracks, mechanism is tight. In an earlier replacement case with a J&D Hite rubber mouthpiece. Please see the photographs. When you purchase one of our clarinets, it has been professionally overhauled with the mechanism tightened, new double skin pads, and new corks. While you can purchase as-is instruments for less, it is likely that you will have to invest in an overhaul either after you have purchased them or shortly thereafter.
