Made by dispersion scheme sub contractors during the heavy bombing dark days to complete rifle manufacture more effectively. This listing is a selection of parts that are allowable to be sold in the 48 continuous states only though eBay - these parts will not constitute a firearm when assembled but will help you finish your existing device. The parts include butt plates, sling swivels, bands, front sight protectors, rear sights, safety catches, ejector, extractor, bolt heads, trigger guards, magazines (all 10 rounds or less), wooden furniture and the required screws, clips, pins and other hardware to mount them. All are marked with a designated contract mark and would be randomly applied to each major assembler (BSA A,B,C, Maltby, Fazakerley) and are in good (or better) useable condition. Factory Contractors were assigned sequential numbers from 3 geographical zones of Britain - The Southern (SXX), Midlands (MXX), Northern (NXX). Famous contactor codes include M47(C) = BSA (Shirley), N79 = Singer. All bands include a fastener of comparable condition to the band. The works of Skennerton:Small Arms Identification Series are @50 pages (11" x 8.25") with laminated covers and stitched spines. In depth history, larger parts diagrams, key makes, marques and versions depicted. Handbooks are 34 pocket sized pages (5.5" x 8.5") with laminated covers - simple history, parts description and strip /reassembly instructions.
