Description: This item is a LEFT-HANDED 37 1/2" wood shaft iron. It is a low lofted cleek. I see no maker's name. The head is clean, not all rusted and in good condition. It does show the expected play nicks and dings. Please look at the many zoom pictures for a better idea of condition. The shaft is an old hickory. It has a bend, I see no cracks and it is tight at the hosel. Already re-set for play. The grip is a newer wrap that is playable. 21* Loft and a D 1 swingweight. Someone was playing with this one. If you are considering playing with this club all wooden shafted irons should be re-set prior to play. While I see no issues with the shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whipping be added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage. These wooden shafts often have hidden defects and are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old wooden shafted wood with a hard range ball. Shipping in the US is calculated and based on a 3-pound box. This item shipped UPS Ground. For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge.
