Description: This is a vintage 1980s LGB of America Rio Grande Expediter train set. This set comes in the original box with all original items and paperwork. This set came from an estate sale, so not much of it's history is known. The cars are all in excellent shape and some didn't look like they had even been taken out of their boxes. While there is not much wear, it does appear it was likely run a short amount of time as there is some minor wear on the wheels. As shown in photos, there are two small magnetic pickups that have been hot glued to the underside of the locomotive. There was some old foam packing residue that was blown off with air and wiped with a clean cloth. Unfortunately I have no way to test this set, but I do not have any reason to believe it would not run. I believe this probably came from the collection of someone who bought it and either ran out of time or space to set it up properly. Comes exactly as shown in photos.
