Lxx 1/6 Homemade WWI WWII Italian Vetterli-Vitali rifle Waffenfabrik Bern M1878 Italy Swiss Homemade by me from resin Approximately 8 5/8 inches long The M1878Vetterli was the Italian service rifle from 1870-1887, when it was gradually replaced with the M1870/87 Italian Vetterli-Vitali variant. The M1878 was a single-shot bolt action rifle chambered for the 10.4mm Vetterli centrefire cartridge, at first loaded with black powder and later with smokeless powder. The M1878 was based upon the M1869 Swiss Vetterli but simplified for economy. This is from my personal collection and is sold as is, it may have imperfections, repairs, or damage. I describe my items (with pictures mostly) as best as I can but I'm sure from time to time I will make a mistake.
