Description: The 1902 Life of Abraham Lincoln: The Story Telling President has 842 pages. From what I have read this is a substantial work that delves into the life and legacy of one of America’s most revered presidents. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or simply curious about Abraham Lincoln, I’m sure you’ll find this book to be a great read. It was published by M.A. Donohue & Company, Printers & Binders of Chicago in 1902. It provides a general view of his policy as President of the United States, along with his messages, proclamations, letters, and a history of his eventful administration. This copy is not perfect with 13 disconnected pages, and pages that are fragile, dry with some edges flaking. And pages mostly discolored to a heavily tan or light brown color from age & exposer from humid to very dry air. This is the first for me seeing edges of pages flaking. The binding is holding for the most part, I just can't say how long it will last. The print type back then was not the greatest, some of the letters did not print well. Someone wrote names in ink & on another page also where it went through one page & transferred to another. Please look very carefully at all photos for this listing in sold as is.
