This is a rare edition of this book, a new process in bookbinding and dust and waterproofing was used which makes this book desirable, unusual and quite a find! Some other examples of this book are, or were, prior to sale, more expensive, I lowered the price, as the condition of this copy is Poor and because the statement concerning the technique used on the binding of the book is not included. This usually appears on the verso to the half-title page. The page with the half-title is included but the statement on the verso was apparently missed by the publisher for this copy. Please see the complete Condition description and the pictures I posted. There are many flaws, the pictures are part of the description. This book has a copyright date of 1915. The actual publication date is not provided. The actual first edition of Little Women was released in two parts, in 1868 and 1869. Note: a copy of Little Men from Blue Ribbon Books, also a Rainbow Edition, is also posted. That book is in much better condition and priced accordingly. The book will be insured.
