Lewis starring Cornel Wilde as a police detective investigating the death of sadistic mob boss Richard Conte's first wife Helen Walker while also becoming obsessed with Conte's girlfriend Jean Wallace (who Wilde was married to in real life), Wilde is kidnapped and tortured in a famously brutal scene, but keeps going. Brian Donlevy, Lee Van Cleef, Helene Stanton, Earl Holliman co-star. Nice border art of Wallace and Wilde gripped by giant hand.
