It's important to note that Brand New Dell batteries can only be purchased directly from Dell (as stated in their BIOS), so all of the Brand New batteries you see for sale on eBay and Amazon are 100% knock-offs. That being said, only the used batteries you find online are authentic, and all of mine are pulled from business laptops that were purchased under warranty directly from Dell (when those business upgrade after their warranty expires, they are then donated to a charity or recycle who the sells them to a wholesaler who then sells those units to me). I hope those still reading this can appreciate the transparency of where and how these are sourced :)
