Description: Offering an outstanding lot of (6) of antique strap hinges that were salvaged from barn doors here in Pennsylvania. These are hand wrought, blacksmith made hinges, all likely from the 19th century. They are sturdy substantial hinges. From the top down, they measure as follows:1. 22-1/2 x 22. 21 x 1-7/8 3. 21-1/2 x 1-5/84. 20-3/4 x 1-7/85. 20-1/2 x 1-5/86. 19-1/4 x 1-3/4 The pintle holes vary, but are between 7/16 and 9/16". The hinges feature beveled edges and a taper to a round beanpot end, and have a great rusty patina. One hinge has small crack in one of the ends (as shown), and another has a small defect on the side, but they are otherwise all in very good usable they without any other cracks or breaks. There are plenty of pictures front and back for you to see the exact condition. These are being sold as six individual hinges of similar style and size, and not as three matching pair. You are getting just the 6 hinges, as no pintles are provided. I do currently have a listing in my store for pintles, as well as many other types of strap hinges. If interested, please check it out. Thanks for looking!
