Description: This lovely size 9 Tete Jumeau has such a pretty innocent expression with beautiful big brown p/w glass eyes, finely painted upper and lower lashes, and an almost smiling open mouth with six porcelain upper teeth, and pierced ears. Her mohair wig is a possible replacement, cork pate and coil spring in head. Her original fully jointed wood and composition body is in very good condition and all fingers and toes are intact and free from repair. She is wearing a cream cotton printed dress, lace trimmed petticoat, bloomers, chemise and laced corset. Red socks and brown Alart leather boots. Size. 20" inches Condition Head is free from cracks, chips, restoration and fine hairlines. Lamp tested. And Incised 9. There is a little glue residue on head rim. Composition and wood body has some overpainting to various parts of body and on hands. One of her boots has a split to the leather down the stitching on the back seam and both boots are fragile.
