Description: This original February 1964 release has these features: Black rainbow label without "subsidiary" text.LP housed in blue company catalog inner sleeve. The Beatles picture on the front sleeve tinted blue; "Beatles" in brown. No producer credits on the rear sleeve. The number "2" at bottom right near RIAA logo. [Imperial Paper Box Corp]3rd label variation: Side A credits the first two tracks to BMI with the remaining cuts to ASCAP. Side B credits all songs to ASCAP, except for track 5 "I Wanna Be Your Man" which is credited to BMI"IAM" in Triangle stamped in runouts denotes a Capitol Records Pressing Plant, Scranton pressing. The matrices are: Matrix / Runout (Runout etched [stamped] side A): T1-2047-G2" #8 [IAM logo]Matrix / Runout (Runout etched [stamped] side B): T2-2047-F1 #2 [IAM logo] The jacket does have a previous owner name stamp on fhe front but otherwise is the cleanest copy I've ever seen. Light corner wear with a tiny split top corner at opening, about 0.1" , no other splits, marks or rings. LP stored in original blue inner sleeve, unsplit. LP has a fair number of light scratches and scuffs, visible but not feelable, and clean vinyl can be seen all over the record, but with the presence of these marks, I'll conservatively grade in the range of VG to VG+.
