(My family, the Lundquists, came from Sweden and settled near Funk, Nebraska)The plants are sturdy and upright, about a foot tall and covered in 3 inch pods. The beans are dried on the vine, shelled, and then cooked. The flavor is rich and the texture is light and tender.
