Featuring a spacer system for length of pull adjustment, improved grip ergonomics, recoil-reducing butt-pad, optional cheek risers for use with optics/raised sights, and other accessories, the SGA brings Magpul design and engineering to another classic American firearm. Magpul Forend MAG494-ORG The MOE M-LOK Forend is a drop-in replacement for the Mossberg 500/590/590A1* 12ga shotguns, featuring an extended length and front/rear hand stops for improved weapon manipulation. Now updated with M-LOK slots for compatibility with all M-LOK accessories, this Forend adds modularity to the proven Mossberg platform for sporting use, home defense, or on duty. Made in U.S.A. NOTE: Not compatible with the optional Mossberg heatshield. Removal is required before use. This item will only install on select Mossberg shotguns. While it may install on some other shotguns (such as the "Maverick" line), there is no guarantee of that. Among Mossberg's, it should install on any Model 590 or 590A1. It may NOT install on every Mossberg 500 in current or past production. Check Compatibility To confirm that the MOE Forend is compatible with your Mossberg shotgun (of any model - 500, 590, or 590A1), measure the "tube" of the action slide tube assembly (the threaded tube that your forend attaches to). If the "tube" is 7 3/4" long (or about from thread to bracket end), it will install fine. Any shorter and it will NOT work; a number of Mossberg models have action slide tubes that are shorter than 7 3/4".
