Description: British Army machete in leather scabbard. Blade is 15" long, and overall length is 20". Blade is named poorly, BADL??? , but clearly dated 1937. The 5 brass rivets are original and are early pattern. The grip is marked W Broad arrow D 8. The leather scabbard has a leather securing strap with brass stud. Tip of scabbard has 2 normal wear holes. Maker mark on scabbard is FAIRBANK LAVENDER & SON 1927???. Good collectible piece. A worthy investment.
