Marantz 2275 AM-FM Stereo Stereophonic Receiver ~ Nice Unit!

Description: This Marantz 2275 in very nice cosmetic condition. The front panel shows very little wear, a few light scratches on case. All functions work (tape input not tested), pulls in AM/FM well, sounds nice but the controls need cleaning as turning most knobs results in noise. This was my father's Marantz which he gifted to me with some other stereo equipment, he used it for years but it has been sitting for about 4 years now. I took this to my tech who has rebuilt several amps over the years for me, but he is so backed up that I decided to pull it from his queue and sell it here. He did the testing, and as mentioned above, all functions work. He believes this Marantz is all original as he couldn't find any signs of repair. Obviously this Marantz is about 50 years old, so he recommends a rebuild, but stated that a thorough cleaning of the controls would likely improve sound and give the receiver more life in the interim. He also found no leaky or bulging capacitors, again this is no guarantee of remaining life, but is still good news. Please let me know if you need any further information or pictures.
