Mego Astronaut Planet of the Apes ~Vintage 1974 Original Action Figure ~Complete

Check out all of the Mego listings in my eBay store!Taking into account the rarity and collectible nature of these figures, I try to be critical and detailed in my description:Displays excellent! 8" scale size action figure - Astronaut - Planet of the Apes!Original body: First release metal rivet Type 1 body. Joints all good - holds a pose. Arms/legs held in place firmly thanks to expert restringing with similar elastic cord as the original - stands nice and straight. No splits in the wrists - common issue on T1 figures. Original head: Marked 1974. Minor paint rubs to the hair. Original clothing: Jumpsuit looks good overall with no holes and working zipper intact. It does show a minor color change due to age, it's a blue color with hints of lavender. The rear has a stained area on the upper back. Original helmet with working blue visor. Micro split in helmet above visor. A couple tiny cracks in the visor - see close up pic. Small repro elastic chin strap added. It looks like cracking on the rear, but it's just factory imperfections in the finish. I have seen these random lines on every Mego helmet I've handled.White rubber boots that look like old style Mego boots - they may be from the 2018 Mego Action Jackson. They have no holes or splits and look great and match the belt. The belt is a reproduction that looks just like the original.Since we all have different definitions of "mint", "good" etc... check out the high quality pictures and make your own judgement of the condition.
