Description: Meissen Type Cup and Saucer A Beautiful Meissen Style small demitasse or espresso cup and saucer. Light black or gray crossed swords type mark. I am not an expert on Meissen and have not seen this black mark before. The piece is certainly old and of excellent quality but use your own expertise to determine if it is Meissen. The cup measures approx 2" high and 1 7/8" wide across the top, 4" saucer. The saucer is fine but the cup has a hairline crack near the handle running from the rim to about halfway down towards the base. Still a beautiful shelf piece but selling as is.
