Description: Awesome gesneriad! Michaelmolleria is a monotypic genus with just one species, vietnamensis. This plant makes a great houseplant as it has a tuber underneath the soil, making it well suited for occasional dry spells and pot culture. The flowers are purple and it blooms most of the year once it reaches adulthood. This is a well rooted division. PLEASE READ: The leaves and stems of this plant are very brittle and prone to breakage. While I do my best to package these in a way that they arrive to you unharmed, a few bent or broken leaves is unfortunately a possibility. All plants are well rooted starts, no cuttings and no freshly potted plants. They are established in their pots. Pots are 3.5” unless otherwise marked. Plants will ship in their pots unless otherwise noted in description above. I ship plants the following Monday or Tuesday after the auction finishes. If you purchase a plant with a set price, it will ship the following Monday or Tuesday after the purchase is confirmed. I cannot be held responsible for heat damage due to extreme weather; if you believe it is too hot for plants to sit in their boxes on the trucks, then go with your instincts and do not order. If you would like me to hold a plant until weather improves I am happy to do so. All plants are grown here in the US by me, no imports or mass produced individuals. All plants are grown in regular household conditions, no fancy tanks or bins or anything like that, so they should be well acclimated to growing in your home.
