Description: Nicely painted 160+ year old folk art dough bowl. Great old untouched surface with multicolored scene of a rustic castle with a stream in the foreground. Gold trim on the brim. After many seasons of heavy service, the bowl was retired as a decorative object. A sweet primitive country piece. Size: 14 3/4″ x 16 3/4″. Condition: Few minor age cracks and wear. Expected shrinkage has caused the once round bowl to be somewhat oval.
