Description: Beautiful, extremely clean Mido Multifort Powerwind vintage all stainless steel screwback waterproof type case, driven by a clean model 917P 17 jewel Powerwind automatic movement, featuring a stunning dial with light patina (see photos). 1240 Every effort has been made to show all possible detail with photographs. All photos are of actual watch in auction. MOVEMENT: Clean 17 jewel 12 ligne A. Schild Mido model 917P automatic movement is signed: "Mido Limited, seventeen 17 jewels, 917P, Swiss." Movement is clean, runs well, however has not been bench tested for precise accuracy or recently serviced. CASE: Extremely clean, round, stainless steel screwback, waterproof type case measures 33.92 mm in diameter without recessed signed crown, 40.81 mm lug tip to tip, and 16 mm between lugs. Case back interior is signed: " Vacuum, Mido Limited, Switzerland, rustless steel, 2253711." Bezel is signed: "3711." Back is signed: " Mido Powerwind stainless steel, shock resistant, Switzerland, anti-magnetic." Crystal is clean and clear as shown. DIAL: Stunning dial with great very faint "badge of honor" radium hand burns (from sitting too long in one position unused) features raised Arabic numbers at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o'clock, with raised hashes at remaining hours, radium dauphine hour and minute hands, sweep second hand, outer minute/seconds track with lumed dot at each hour position. Dial is signed: "Mido, Multifort, Powerwind, Switzerland ". BAND: Fitted with black stitched padded band as shown. If there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact seller.
