All reasonable offers are considered.MIRIAM HASKELL 1940's 2-Pc Suite Faux Turquoise Glass Beads & Ice Clear Rose Montée Gold Gilt Brass Accents For your consideration, a 5-strand choker bib necklace and matching beaded cluster earrings. This set was designed and hand made in 1940's for Miriam Haskell. The necklace is a bib which can also be twisted to be worn as a torsade and is designed with five strand/strings of triangle cut faux turquoise glass beads. The beads are attach to filigree gold gilt brass box clasp, which is decorated with hand wired ice clear rose montée and a domed round faux turquoise glass cabochon in the center. It fastens with push tongue latch.The earrings are button style cluster and a perfect match to the box clasp of the necklace. The base of the earrings have gold gilt brass filigree base. The earrings fasten with paddle shaped clip backs. Both earrings are signed “MIRIAM HASKELL” on the clip backs. The glass beads and brass accents used by the designer in construction of the jewelry. They are of the best quality and were imported by Haskell for use in the designs of their jewelry and contribute to its smooth finish, exquisite beauty and well preserved condition. This set is rare and will continue to appreciate in value over the years if gently worn and carefully stored. The necklace is heavy and weighs approximately 69 grams. Each earring weighs 8 grams.DIMENSIONS: The measurements are approximate.Necklace ~14½”L ~ This measurement is taken when the necklace opened and laid flat in a straight line. It is the measurement of the shortest strand and includes the box clasp not the push tongue latch. Earrings ~ 1” in diameter and ⅝” in thickness. Condition: This is pre-owned vintage designer costume jewelry which has had only one owner and were gently worn. The set was inherited from a relative. Structurally, the pieces are all well preserved piece with minor tarnish on gold gilt findings and discoloration consistent with aging brass. The rose montée are still quite sparkly. The glass turquoise beads are well preserved and l cannot find any chips, cracks or other damage. The necklace has no frayed or stretched threads. The clasp of the necklace and the earrings have no lose or broken wires. The push tongue latch fits into the box clasp and fastens securely. The clip backs fit snug. Overall, all pieces are well preserved and in good condition.NOTE: This piece is part of my personal collection of vintage costume jewelry by designer MIRIAM HASKELL.
