Model 1816 Civil Mexican War Springfield Musket Rifle SOCKET BAYONET "US TA CL"

Here is a nice model 1816 Springfield musket rifle socket bayonet. This is marked US TA and what looks like CL. The TA stands for Timothy Allen who inspected the bayonet.
