MP+ Glossy Eevee | JP Vintage | 1998 Pokemon Vending Series 1 (Blue)

Description: MP+ copy of Eevee from Japanese Pocket Monsters Vending Series 1 (Blue). Card has a fair amount of whitening on the back, along all edges, but the front is in excellent condition. Unlike regular expansions, where a player would receive a number of cards from a booster pack, these cards were only obtainable on randomized sheets from a Vending Machine from which the cards were peeled. It is due to this that the fan name Vending Machine Series was coined by collectors, and should not be considered the proper name for the set. All vending series cards have a unique glossy finish. It’s sort of similar to a mirror, but is not a holo card. Instead it’s kind of like looking at a pool of water. It’s not a shiny finish but you can see your reflection to some extent and the card does nicely reflect light. These glossy-finish cards are exclusive to the vending series cards and some Coro Coro magazine Japanese promos. Please reach out should you like photos or have questions. I’ll get back to you ASAP.
