Description: This is an original hand colored Nathaniel Currier lithograph titled “Partridge Shooting”, that I believe was issued before his brother-in-law James Merritt Ives joined the firm in 1852. Ives became full partner in 1857, so I believe this was before hebecame partner. Also it had the address 2 Spruce St. N.Y. where they had their business from 1838 until 1865. The printed image measures 8” x 12 7/8”, with minor stains or foxing on the left, but in pretty good shape for its age. It’s in a vintage pineframe measuring 15 3/8” x 19 3/4”.A
