Just add your own headstall or bosal hanger to complete this set. The bosal is natural color with small black accents genuine rawhide. The bosal is 16 plait count nose and 12 plait count cheeks. The bosal is a rawhide core bosal (NO inner metal core) approximately 5/8" diameter and 2" circumference so it will accommodate most headstalls or bosal hangers. The nice black mecate rein is a soft stiffness braided nylon. The length of the mecate rein is approximately 23 feet and will be tied onto the bosal in the traditional style creating one single rein with a lead. The mecate has a black genuine horsehair tassel that will hang just under the heel knot and tooled leather popper at the other end. This is a beautiful set that will look great on any color horse.
