Description: This listing is for a single slabbed Third Reich 2 Reichsmark Hindenburg silver coin minted in 1936 in the Munich mint. These coins contain 62.5% silver (0.161 Troy ounces). This was the first year that these coins were available, and they were made in much lower quantities than the varieties from 1937-1939. This listing is specifically for the 1936D variety, of which just 840,000 were minted. In comparison, there were 6,190,000 minted in the same mint (Munich, 1937D) just one year later, as well as over 23 million minted in the Berlin mint in 1937. These coins are Very Fine (VF) condition or better, with representative examples pictured. The coin holders are not glued shut. You can open/reclose them and remove/swap/readjust the coin as you see fit.
