Nee Wong was a Chinese Vaudeville performer and a gifted ukulele player who played internationally and was known as the Chinese "Ukulele Ike" and the "Gentleman of The Orient". He would sing American songs and translate them into Chinese for his audiences. He played the ukulele in a fashion similar to Frank Crumit.
