Neoregelia Bob Work is a beautiful medium-sized bromeliad. The origins are Fireball x Carolinae Princeps x Burle-Marxii. This one stands out in the crowd with its interesting patterns, and clusters quite nicely, as in the pics, due to its ability to create large attractive clumps in either full sun or full shade. This Neo becomes a very intense pink/purple color in full sun, and is greener in lower light. The winter months seem to turn it a translucent purple that is very distinct from any other bromeliad. This is indeed a very cool quality that this one has! Averages 8" -12" across at maturity. You will be receiving a pup that is more green than purple, but the purple will come out more as it matures. Photos 8-11 look reddish, but the actual color is more purple, as I think the lighting at the end of the day made it look more red. This auction is for a single plant pup, smaller than the plants shown in the photos, but similar to the last 2 photos. Plants will grow to to around size seen in the photos. Plants will be shipped bare root or no root, without soil. Yes I do discount for combined shipping!
