Description: Up for sale is one of our Custom Hand Crafted Neve Rigs. Rig is loaded with 1 ea Vintage 31102c Mic Pre/EQ module.This is a particularly rare Neve module-the "c" version of the 31102 has stepped gain controls on the eq section. Implimented in approx. 2.5 db incriments. 6 "clicks" for boost and 6 "clicks" for cut. The 31102 is the same EQ as the 1084. The only difference is the line function was external to the module. We have added the line input function as it was originally designed when the module is mounted in the 8058/8068 consoles.In the console the line input function was located external of the 31102 module and placed in the switching/aux module. ( 32404 module). This comprised of the 31267 Line in XFRMR and the Mic/Line switching and a trim function that has a 20db swing ( approx -10 to +10 with center being at 0 ) We have emulated the original console design and signal flow and Not modified the 31102 module. The rig consists of one of our custom made racks that are all hand built- using point to point wiring -same as the Neve Vintage consoles. We utilize Mogami wire and Neutrik connectors. Bourns quality pots and high quality switches for 48v. A PC-edge board connector is installed as it is a far better connection to the modules than the original amphenol connectors. The power supply is a tried and true Linear Regulated 24v supply. This 31102c has had its 284 card recapped. please see pics. All functions/switches are working and no dead spots. As the module is a few decades old...the switches will Need cleaning periodically. If your AC mains are 220-240 we can set the PSU to accept that voltage please specify when purchasing.
