Description: Developed especially for the Cagiva Gran Canyon, a higher gearing option for the Gran Canyon, an OEM replacement 16 tooth front sprocket with a longer hub length. Made in the USA with quality that is as good or better than the other leading makes and sold at a very competitive price. The hub length has been increased so that the sprocket makes maximum contact with the transmission countershaft spline. The OEM bolt on retainer has been eliminated in favor of a quick change spring clip style retainer facilitating quick sprocket changes. A quick change " E Clip" type retainer replacing the OEM retainer PN 0670.16.105 and its bolts PN 8A000.67997 is included. The design ensures the sprocket is capable of high loads and minimizes the wear on the countershaft by reducing the load at the sprocket tooth to spline tooth contact point and this sprockets balanced load design minimizes wobble of the sprocket on the shaft providing smooth running. Available in 15, and 16 tooth configurations. Additional quick change retianers can be purchased separately.
