Product Description: Listing Update...This is not so much an update as it is a brief comment about the computers and related parts I have available for sale. Personal computers (and in particular desktop computers) have always been a hobby of mine. I've enjoyed tinkering with this stuff over the years and have accumulated a number of items during this time...some new and some used. I am not an expert on the subject...more of an enthusiast...but I will still do my best to answer any questions as it relates to my computer related listings. Thank you. Original Listing... This offering is for a new Fractal Design Focus G (red) mid tower computer case. I honestly don't have a lot of experience with Fractal Design cases, but upon close inspection there are some things I like about this one. The steel mesh integrated into the front panel/bezel is great for increased airflow, which appears to be a point of emphasis with this case. I say this because there is also a vented top (which is a fairly common feature with today's cases) and a large vented bottom that stretches nearly the length of the case (which is impressive and not as common with today's cases). There are also two 5.25" drive bays that allow for traditional CD/DVD players to be installed, which is another feature that is no so common with today's cases. Then there are the typical 3.5" drive bays (two of them for traditional hard drives or SSDs), but I also like the 2.5" drive mount on the backside and below the motherboard tray (for another SSD). In the interest of being fair and balanced, a negative aspect of this case design is the lack of a power supply shroud and there is only one blue USB Type-A (3.2 Gen 1 running at 5 Gb/s) and one black USB Type-A (2.0 running at 480 Mb/s). The case plug-ins to the motherboard headers will support two of each of these USB ports, so I am always frustrated when a case provides only one of each. Please also note this is the windowed version of this case. So it has an acrylic (thin/transparent plastic) window built into the steel side panel that allows for a view of the case build. Finally, there are the two Fractal Design Silent Series LL 120 mm case fans with white LEDs (mounted at the front for intake). I would prefer to also have a single 120 mm case fan mounted at the rear for exhaust, but one was not included from the factory with this case. I actually have two of these cases and they were originally earmarked for Ryzen builds to the same customer, but those builds fell through and these cases have been sitting on the shelf for at least a couple of years. For now, I've just got too many new computer cases sitting on the shelf and since I do not have any immediate plans for this one, I'll make it available to someone that may want it. Having said all of the above, I thought it might also be helpful if I shared a spec. sheet of sorts that highlights some of the primary computer case features: Basic Description (type/color): Mid tower with a ventilated top, front panel/bezel and a mostly red finish Case Material: mostly steel with a windowed (acrylic) side panel and a plastic front panel/bezel Motherboard Compatibility: ATX, Micro ATX and Mini ITX Dimensions (H x W x D): 17.48" x 8.07" x 18.27" Weight: 9.92 lbs. Front Panel Ports: one black USB Type-A (2.0 running at 480 Mb/s), one blue USB Type-A (3.2 Gen 1 running at 5 Gb/s), an audio input (microphone) and an audio output (speaker/headphone)...there is also a hard drive LED, an on/off button with a LED indicator and a reset button Expansion: Two 5.25 drive bays (for CD/DVD drives), two 3.5" drive bays (for hard drives or SSDs), one 2.5" drive mount (for an SSD) and seven expansion slots Fan Options: Front (2 x 120 mm / included or 2 x 140 mm), top (2 x 120 or 140 mm), bottom (1 x 120 or 140 mm) and rear (1 x 120 mm) Radiator Options (max size): Front (240 or 280 mm), Top (240 mm) and Rear (120 mm) Other: There is a removable filter on the bottom of the case (under which the power supply fan will be positioned). This will need to be removed and cleaned periodically to keep good (cool) airflow entering into the power supply unit. In terms of condition, this is a new case and will be shipped in it's original box with all the factory foam packing to ensure safe transit. I can also confirm the case still has it's full compliment of accessories in a small cardboard box (and is visible in one of the pictures above). So again, it's effectively a new case, but I am calling it an open box offering, because of it's brief history out of the box (when I inspected it for a customer build that fell through). It's also worth noting if cost is not as much of an issue (or if you prefer US Postal Services "USPS" over FedEx), then USPS Priority Mail service is generally the most timely of the domestic shipping options. Note to international customers regarding oversized package shipping... International shipping requirements vary for larger packages (including size limitations from country to country). As a result, international customers should contact us before purchasing larger items. We are then able to research shipping options to determine if we are able to ship a particular oversized item to your country and then provide an accurate shipping quote. This way we will avoid any confusion or misunderstanding with respect to international shipping of oversized packages. Note to international customers regarding customs... We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value).
