Description: Pretty pair of flow blue style bowls from the New Wharf Pottery Co., England. The larger bowl measures 9 inches across, 2 inches tall and 4 1/2 inches across the base. It has a scalloped edge a scroll design and flower swags around the rim and a center picture of a courting couple. There are 4 small pinhole gaps in the glaze. The smaller bowl has a blurrier transfer, but the same picture. Measures 5 1/4 inches across, 1 inch tall and 3 inches across the base. Pieces are marked on the back as shown and say, "Watteau N.W.P. Co. England" Very good used condition. No nicks, chips, cracks, or crazing. There are some minor pock marks in the glaze.
