Early in our history, we used a batch of inferior plastic which caused premature wear and breakage of the strips which occurred after a year and a half of use. Many companies make the plastic pieces, and there is no guarantee of the quality. The competition uses whatever the belt MFG gives them and have no control of over the quality of this vital component. Nexbelt has redesigned the red plastic zipper to outperform and outlast every belt on the market.
