This is the 6.11.1950 fifty piastres, representing the last issue of this note. The note is issued by the Lebanese Republic. The front of the note, which is green on multicolor underprint, is in Arabic and shows image of the ruins of the Temple of Jupiter in Baalbek. The front also shows the denomination, the date, and two signatures. The back is also green with French writing and shows the ruins of the Temple of Mercury again in Baalbek. It also shows the denomination. This particular note has the serial number 132362 and is series "Waw." The note has no watermark that we could find. It is relatively small measuring ~4 3/4" by ~2 3/4". Please carefully review the scans presented as they are part and parcel of our description. Date: 6 November 1950. Printer: Unknown, but issued by the Lebanese Republic Size: The banknotes measure ~4 3/4" by ~2 3/4". Pick Number: P43 and is listed in the Banknote Book as B310b Condition: I would grade the banknote as a nice fine or better. The note is soiled and has darkened a bit from circulation and age. It has several vertical and horizontal folds. It also shows general wrinkling. The note is intact with no tears or splits. It has no pinholes, and no objectionable stains (it does have a few small minor stains). The note has graffiti in the form of blue numbers in the bottom margin of the reverse. The corners are intact with considerable rounding, bumps, and minor folds. The edges show roughness and nicks throughout.
