Nice Kantronics KPC-3+ Ham Radio Packet Communicator 3 PLUS TNC Data Modem APRS

Description: This is a Kantronics "Packet Communicator 3 PLUS" (KPC-3+) Data/Terminal Node Controller (TNC) for Ham Radio Packet Radio operation. This unit came from a local Amateur Radio Operator's Estate Sale. It appears to be in very good physical condition, but has not been tested other than applying +12V to the rear Power connector and observing the front-panel POWER LED, and is sold as-is. Please see the attached pictures.It is intended for use between a Ham Radio Transceiver and a PC or other video Terminal. This is the later version "PLUS" version TNC. It has the later V9.1 firmware installedIt does not include cables or any accessories - it is the TNC Only as shown in the pictures. It does not include a printed Instruction manual, but the manual is available for free download on the Kantronics site, which gives info about how to use this with your Transceiver (it's 236 pages!) Also available on the Kantronics site is the specifications sheet and connector pinout information sheets. I've sold several of these Kantronics KPC-3+ TNCs recently. The pictures shown are of the acutal unit the buyer will receive. A DC power supply (+6V DC to +25V DC, or a cubetap/"wall-wart") is required (not included.)
