After training in Vienna and Dresden in the early 1920s, he enrolled at the original Weimar Bauhaus. By 1926 he had settled in Torino, where he would spend the remainder of his life. Diulgheroff died in his adopted Italian home, which had made him an honorary citizen, on 9 June 1982. He came under the sway of the leaders of the Futurist movement and contributed to the Manifesto of Futurist Cooking (1930) published in Turin’s Gazzetta del Popolo by Filippo Tommasi Marinetti and Fillìa.
