Description: Vintage 1970-71 Hetchins 23" / 59cm Spyder 531 Reynolds Steel Road Bike Frame & Fork Vintage English 1970-71 Hetchins Spyder 23" x 22" English Road Bike Frame and Fork with Nice Original Paint. It's all about Hetchins Beautiful Lugs, Not only beautiful styling the large amount of cut outs provides stronger brazed joints. The Lugs also Denote model, although they can have different Geometry's. Spyder Lugs are second generation version of the earlier Swallow Lugs. This Spyder is made of Reynolds 531 Steel Tubing with Campagnolo Dropouts. I think this frame is considered 23" x 22" that's 23" Crank Center to Seat Mast Top and 22" Center to Center Top Tube. Size Metric Approximates: Seat tube 57.5cm Center to Center or 59cm Center to Top, with a 56cm center to center Top Tube , and a 160mm tall headtube. The wheel base appears to be 40". The Serial is H106xx with Matching Fork Serial and from my research it's looks to be from 1970 or 1971. The Frame has 120mm Rear Spacing for 5 speed freewheels. Frame & Fork ++ is British / ISO Standard. Frame and Fork with Original paint, Paint is real Pretty, Used shape, has some scratches & touch up on the rear stays and fork, otherwise minimal blemishes on the rest of the frame set, Very nice color combo, low miles, Pretty Survivor. The Frame and Forks clearance is for 700c Wheels bike.
