Old Cabinet Card Photo Woman & Child Unusual Pose Interesting

Description: Here is an interesting, old, cabinet card photo of a young woman and a little girl. The little girl is in a white dress, with black stockings and black high top laced shoes. She is standing on a white whicker chair. The young woman is standing in back of her, wearing a black dress, with white trim around the neckline and bodice, and she is wearing a long strand of what looks like pearls. She is posing quite different from what I've ever seen in old photos. She has her hands up at her neck, like she's about to lift her head off of her shoulders. Wonder why she is posing like that? The little girl is standing so straight and looking so serious compared to the woman. I am guessing that they are mother and daughter or older sister with a very much younger sister? Unfortunately there is nothing written on the photo identifying the woman or child and there is no date or place written on it either. There is no photographer's mark on the photo. The photo is nice, but does have some marks on it, the little girls dress is so white it almost makes her face look faded. The cardboard it is mounted on has some stains and rough spots around the edges and corners. The back also has some stains and marks. Neat card for a fun craft project or to add to your collection.
