Old Unknown, European? Christensen?? Multi-colored Toy Marble 15.5mm (63)

Description: Old weird Clear Toy Marble. This 15.5mm diameter item is one neat Marble, with very little or no signs of being played with..Clear based with transparent yellow and blue, Opaque Green, and an elusive bit of red that cannot been seen without magnification.Please see the attached photos to complete this item's description. The current pictures shown in listing are from three of the 4 sets taken, on four different days, on 4 separate surfaces, and using the same camera phone. No form of trickery or deception was employed in the process of photographing this item. Lighted, back-lighted, or poor light, close, and at a distance, this item takes great pictures!!! If you have, or have seen one like this, please, do share. As of yet, no one has come forward with any evidence that they know more than what is apparent: it's a Cats-Eye; it's over priced; it's......what? Who made it? Where and when was it made? One recent opinion (from one who is, I presume, a learned collector) insists that this is a European Marble. Does that make it any less fascinating a thing? And, isn't Germany a part of Europe? Are marbles produced in Great Britain or Prague de-valued because they are "European"? I'm no expert, and didn't play with marbles as a child. I do find this one very fascinating, and would really like to see another like it. I will be taking some more pictures, again, with this same phone, at close range, so that you can see for yourself, the many, many fascinating presentations this small thing offers. And remember: the value of any given item is determined by the amount a buyer is willing to pay for it, and not by those who think their opinions are factual, or somehow valued by others. No one knows everything about marbles, and THAT IS A FACT!! It's easy to say: "no one has ever paid that much for a single marble!" But it wasn't all that long ago that paying $1000.00, or even $10.00 for a single children's toy marble was as ludicrous a notion as could be imagined.
