Part of the art deco period and to commemorate the crowning of Edward VIII of England, who later abdicated the throne and never had a coronation. It is a historical pattern and is very impressive. There is tarnishing on some of these pieces, so a good cleaning and polishing is in order, but they are in very nice condition. I do have the original box as well, i did not list it with this item, because it significantly increases the weight and complexity of shipping.
