Description: This is a very nice high end exclusive jacket by master tailor Orazio Luciano of Napoli, Italy in a mens size 38R for the US, and 58R Italy. Orazio Luciano was a master cutter at Kiton and started his own master tailor shop in 1992. This was custom ordered and finished for the original owner so please read all the measurements and description. Please verify all measurements and size before bidding. This is made of an elegant 100% wool material in a navy blue pinstripe. Please see the up close photographs of this coat for exact features, details, and the color of the material. This is a single breasted 3/2 roll lapel. This means that the top button is rolled into the lapel itself, a design feature that is very popular in Italy as well as Britain. This allows you to fast in the middle button, leaving the top button rolled into the lapel for a different walking stance. It is done on some of the highest and tailored clothes in the world. The photo show this with the middle button attached, and you could see what a great, exclusive look this creates. This sport coat has 4 buttons on the sleeves. This has a double vented rear and it is fully lined with 3 interior pockets. There is light hand picked stitching along the exterior edges of this high endItalian made jacket. Luciano hand stitches the button holes and the boutonniere. Tailoring done in the Neapolitan style, called “La Vera Sartoria Napoletana”, this jacket has the soft construction, the higher armholes, and a slightly wider lapel that has the soft curve inside curl. These coats by Luciano take 25 man hours or more to complete. The measurements are as follows: CHEST = 48 1/2 inches around the outside of the coat measured just under the armpits. We take the measurements around the outside circumference of the blazer as if it was being worn by a person. We do not take measurements laying flat. This is a slimmer fit cut compared to many typical off the rack size 48 size coats. SLEEVES = 35 1/2 inches from the center of the back neckline to the end of the cuffs, 25 3/4 inches from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuffs. TAIL = 30 1/2 inches from the BOTTOM of the collar to the end of the waistline hem in the rear. SHOULDERS = 19 //2 inches wide from shoulder seam to shoulder seam WAISTLINE = 46 inches around the midsection of the coat at the bottom button which is about 8 1/2 inches up from the bottom hem line. We take measurements around the outside circumference of the jacket as if it was being worn by a person. We do not measure laying flat. This is a slim fit at the midsection compared to a typical off the rack size 48. Again, we suggest you take measurements and compare to an existing jacket that you may own. Also please note that we take measurements as if the jacket is being worn by a person like a tailor would do so when measuring the customer. We measure the circumference. This Orazio Luciano Napoli suit jacket is great for any man’s wardrobe needs. It shows class and excellence which is always seen in any article by Luciano. These suit jackets and sport coats are very expensive as well. This coat was worn for just a few times in total. It looks great. The exterior material is in very nice condition. While we do not see any real major issues with the outside, it has been worn so of course it is not perfect as new. On the inside, there may be a few loose interior lining threads here or there, but nothing significant at all. This could be worn as a suit jacket with a tie, or even dress down with a simple dress shirt. We are listing this as a suit jacket or a sport coat.
