Description: WW1 Sam Browne Leather Frog Sword Hanger Condition: Great, with no cuts to the leather, missing brass fixtures, or other damage or major wear. There is some cracking on the tab near the brass ring. The leather is still soft and supple, although there are some scratches and worn top layer of the leather from use and age. The hardware is aged nicely and works as it should. This leather sword hanger would have been issued to an officer during WW1 to slide onto a brown leather Sam Browne belt and attach a steel suspension sword hanger to the belt. It is unmarked. These original Sam Browne sword hangers in this condition are difficult to find, so don't miss out on this great piece of history!!!
